Seminar: How the Pros Structure Screenplays

Saturday, July 30, 12:00–2:30pm
660 Alabama Street @18th Street
2nd floor conference room

One thing that all award-winning screenplays have in common is good structure. I’ll give you a detailed outline of every structural point that should be included in your screenplay, but more importantly I’ll tell you why they are necessary. I'll also give you examples of these structural points in some of the most successful screenplays ever written so you can see practical example of how they work. Once you understand screenplay structure, you will never have writer’s block again because you will always know what your characters should do next. You’ll take home detailed structural analyses of several Oscar-winning scripts, as well as a handy structure guide that you can use as a quick reference when writing your own script.

The seminar fee is $40, or just $75 total if you also take my Top Ten Screenwriting Tips seminar from 3:00-5:30 that afternoon. If you attend both seminars, you'll save $5 and I’ll send you feedback on the structural outline of your next script or current script (up to two pages) for free!

Space is limited to ten participants, so please click below to register in advance:
